THE ANGLE FAMILY
THE ACUTE ANGLE: Less than 90°
Ranges from : 1° to 89°
THE RIGHT ANGLE: equal to 90°
THE OBTUSE ANGLE: more than 90° but less that 180°
Ranges from : 91° to 179°
THE STRAIGHT ANGLE: equal to 180°
THE REFLEX ANGLE: more than 180° but less than 360°
Ranges from : 181° to 359°
FULL TURN / CIRCLE: equal to 360°
Here are some examples of the ways we use angles:
- When parking a car a driver uses the concept of angles to park in a particular space, especially when parallel parking.
- A contractor uses angles to build a house, a school, or any structure.
- A student places books on a shelf at a slight angle to prevent them from tipping over.
